Mostly Recorded and written in Lincoln, Nebraska in the second half of 2008 with a $40 used guitar that I suspect is haunted -- except "The Ascent," which is from the Ann Arbor/Zebralogy years, and "Streets I Know" and untitled instrumental, which are from the following year in Marquette (2009) when the record was finished. "Silver C" is built upon an improvisation recorded in Boston with the band Lakeside Project circa 2003.
